Bali Zoo Park

Bali Zoo is the perfect wildlife conservatory for the finest collection of Indonesian and other countries exotic animals. The Zoo takes visitors on a virtual jungle tour, where you can see the animals close up, and admire the tropical flora and beautiful setting. Entering the exotic world of fauna, visitors are welcome by our friendly staff, warm repeated song of Siamangs, a lazy gigantic crocodile, and the biggest lizard of the world, the Komodo Dragon.The songs of various kinds of birds, such as the Bali starlings, peacocks, cassowaries, cockatoos and many other Asian birds greet visitors as they walk along the paths with lush tropical plantations and soft sound of fountains drops from the surrounding ponds. Explore our finest collection of deer, kangaroos, reptiles, primates, tigers and many other species… It’s a really fun day out for all the family, and an educational experience.

What you can see around Bali Zoo Park :
1. Celuk is the right destination for gold and silver lovers, where its main road is adorned with many gold or silver galleries in traditional or modern buildings. Good quality gold or silver accessories in unusual designs and fair pricing, some even made to your order, if you have your own design.
2. Mas Village lies on the main road, 20 km to the north of Denpasar and 6 km before Ubud, in a hilly countryside covered with ricefields and irrigated year-round by the waters of the Batuan aud Sakah river.
3. Goa Gajah (Elephant Cave) located two kilometers east of Ubud , this complex overlooks the Petanu river and consists of a SiSwati rock-cut cave, a bathing place, a monks’ chamber, a number of Buddhists rock cut Stupa and statues , and several foundations.
4. Yeh Pulu , the relief is carved on rock, located near Goa Gajah, between rice field and ravine. The site was rediscovered in 1925. In 1949 a simple protection was laid out to avoid water flowing on the surface of the relief. It looks like panel with the size of 25 x 2 meters.

LOCATION
Situated in the cultural heart of Bali, the zoo is only 15 minutes drive from Ubud, and 45 minutes from the tourist areas of Kuta, Tuban, Legian and Seminyak. The sandy white beaches of Sanur are only 20 minutes’ drive away or a 1 hour drive from Nusa Dua Resort.

OPERATION HOURS
Open Daily: 9am to 6pm daily. Every day of the year (except Nyepi – Balinese day of silence).
