I was a bit curious and nervous after reading the last review that was posted but I had an amazing and completely different experience.

Gusti picked us up from our villa and started off by letting us know what the plan for the day was (the itinerary that the day was based off) he let us know that if there was something that we didn’t want to do, to just let him know.

He was very professional and answered all our questions and even walked around the Batuan temple explaining to us what everything was and the different levels of temples and what the functions were. He explained the history and the three big Gods that are worshipped. We ended up being at Tirta Empul for about 2 hours due to a long line at the purification springs, he was so understanding and even let us skip a lunch so we could make it to Besakih in time before it closed.

My friend and I had a great experience with Gusti and definitely recommend him to anyone who is thinking of doing an excursion to the temples. He was professional, educational/informative and delightful to spend the day with.

He was very well versed in English and shared about how the rice is harvested as well as other stops. He answered our questions promptly such as the architecture of the palace and Temples that we drove past, and even went out of his way to find Babi Guling for us as we were curious about the local Indonesian food. It was truly an eye opening experience, would definitely recommend this.
